South Central Ambulance Charity is the charitable arm attached to South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SCAS), working across Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire as well as supporting Patient Transport Services in Surrey and Sussex. Money raised by the charity is used to fund services, projects and equipment that are not supplied by Government NHS Funding. As an NHS ambulance charity, we have a key focus on Community First Responders (CFRs) and community life saving equipment and knowledge. These areas provide a real benefit to patients, firstly by enabling the right resource to reach the patient as quickly as possible and secondly to ensure that those in our communities have the skills and knowledge to step forward and help others when faced with an emergency.
