So there’s 24 hours in a day, you’re trying to run a business, get new leads, liaise with clients and manage a team if you have one but your social media isn’t running itself and you’re struggling to find the time your social media marketing needs. Sound like you?
Look at this way, if you’re not putting your time into your social media but your competitor is, they’re getting a slice of something you’re not, right? We’re sure that won’t sit well with you.
So it’s time to put aside some of your day/week to spend on your social media but don’t worry, this blog will help you save time.
How do I really save time on my social media marketing and make it work for me you ask?
1. PLAN
Plan, plan, plan and do some more planning.
No one likes thinking on the day a post is due to go out “gosh, what can I post today?”, “what can I sell in this post or what will people engage with?”
If you’re stuck in this rut, the chances are your posts aren’t getting very good engagement as your selling too much, not giving out any value and your posts aren’t directed or of interest to your audience.
All of this is why planning is so important.
2. SCHEDULE
Now we have a plan, it’s time to schedule. At the beginning of each month or week, sit down and schedule your posts. You’ll thank yourself as when once it’s done, it’s done.
This is one of the tips that will save you the most time.
There’s lots of scheduling tools out there and that can come across as overwhelming but investigate each one and work out what you need vs what it can provide.
Some are also more costly than others, so that is something to bear in mind. However, Facebook Business Suite provides a lot of basic scheduling tools that can be used for your Facebook and Instagram posts in like with your business pages/accounts.
Stay tuned for part 2 of this blog where we will cover 2 more time saving tips you can implement into your social media marketing.
